Menkaure Quarry is a limestone quarry located at Giza, Egypt. It was used during the Old Kingdom period (2686-2181 BC) to extract the limestone blocks used in the construction of the pyramid complex of Menkaure, the third pharaoh of the 4th dynasty. The quarry is located on the eastern side of the Giza plateau, near the Causeway of Menkaure. The blocks quarried from the site were transported to the construction site of the pyramid, located about 1.5 kilometers to the west. The quarry contains several unfinished statues and inscriptions, providing insight into the quarrying and construction techniques used during the Old Kingdom period.
